Easy no bake peanut butter balls are the ticket to a crunchy sweet treat the whole family will love.
We’re big fans of everything peanut butter and chocolate around here, and this version has rice krispies in them, which we love for the crispy texture they add. That peanut butter and chocolate combination is a match made in sweet tooth heaven, we’re all about the easiest way to satisfy that craving!

How to store No Bake Peanut Butter Balls:
Store these No Bake Peanut Butter Balls in the freezer once prepared. They are the perfect little treat for when you’re craving something sweet.
Milk chocolate or semi sweet chocolate in Peanut Butter Balls:
You can use milk chocolate or semi sweet chocolate chips in this recipe. We have tried both, and we prefer to use milk chocolate chips. If you don’t want them to be so sweet, try out semi sweet and see if you like it!
Step by step for No Bake Peanut Butter Balls:
Here’s a bit of the step by step. You can use an ice cream scoop to get uniform sized balls or just your hands to make perfectly round balls. We used a wooden skewer to dip them into the melted chocolate to keep our hands clean. You could also try lining up all the peanut butter balls on a cooling rack and pouring the chocolate over the top…definitely a lot more clean up, but it’s like a chocolate dream!
Helpful tools for this recipe:
- wooden skewer for dipping into the chocolate to keep your hands clean
- ice cream scoop
- baking sheet pans
- waxed paper or parchment paper
- large bowl for mixing
- microwave safe bowl for warming the chocolate
- rubber spatula
No Bake Peanut Butter Balls with Rice Cereal:
One of my favorite things about this recipe is the crisp you get from the rice cereal. If you want even more of a crunch, swap out regular creamy peanut butter for crunchy!
