10 minute homemade hot fudge is the so easy and so delicious!
How will we survive the hot months ahead without ice cream…and what better way to enjoy your ice cream than with some delicious homemade hot fudge all over the top! Of course, if you’re anything like me, you most likely will end up with a big bowl of hot fudge garnished with some ice cream. We made a quick video to show you just how easy it is to make!
A friend of mine made this hot fudge one night for a church youth activity. When I saw some of the boys pouring it in cups and drinking it, I knew I had to try it!
It’s so good!
This hot fudge is super easy to whip up and you can make it in less than 10 minutes. I will give you a fair warning…you’ll need to be quick when serving this hot fudge to others. It’s so amazing that if you don’t serve yourself fast enough, it’ll be gone because everyone will want seconds! If you happen to have any left over, chances are you’ll be eating it out of the jar with a spoon for breakfast the next morning…or maybe that’s just me, oops! …breakfast of champions! 😉

What size can of evaporated milk?
14oz. thanks for asking! I will add it to the recipe.
How long will this last?
Up to a week in the fridge.
Kami, thank you a fun recipe… hope all is well.
I followed the recipe, but really questioned the ingredient of Evaporated Milk in the 14 oz. can. Evaporated Milk comes in a 12 oz. can. Sweetened Condensed Milk comes in a 14 oz. can, which is smaller but heavier and thicker than the Evaporated Milk. The cooked mixture tastes very good, however, it is not as thick as I think Hot Fudge should be. Is anyone else questioning this? I’m not going to throw it out, but would really like clarification if the recipe should include evaporated milk or the sweetened condensed milk. I would like to try this again sometime………. any thoughts or changes?
Hi Bernadette! I have personally not made this recipe yet. Sorry for the confusion. Carrie shared this guest post. I’m wondering if you were to try using the sweetened condensed milk, if it would be too sweet??
That looks incredible!!!
I have been making this recipe for years, except I make it with 1/2 C butter, you do use evaporated milk and cook it until it is the thickness you desire. It is fantastic!
What if i use normal milk instead of evaporated milk,it woul be ok?And it would be a problem if i would ude normal milk cholate with a lil bit of salt insted of semi sweek cholcate chips?:)
I don’t think it would taste the same or have the same texture…but you can always try it.
