Frozen Raspberry Dessert is such a fun Summer Dessert.
It’s getting warmer people! I’m so ready to be spending more time outside and see my neighbors again! It’s like we all hibernate in the winter, and when Spring rolls around again, it’s so fun to see everyone outside. This warmer weather has me craving cool treats. In all honesty, we eat ice cream year round at our house (you guys too?!), so maybe the weather has nothing to do with it. Anywho…who’s ready for a semi-homemade ice cream dessert that’s so easy to whip up? My friend recently shared this simple recipe with me and I was in love! This frozen raspberry dessert is so creamy and tropical. It’s also great for serving a crowd!
Here’s the ingredient lineup: store bought…store bought…store bought…fresh…frozen…fresh. It’s like the easiest dessert, and it’s so good! Something about all the flavors mixed together with the fresh and frozen fruit is so delicious.
Here’s a little collage I snapped late at night. All the ingredients ready to be mixed together on the left and then the photo on the right is what it looks like once it’s all mixed together. You’ll want to do this the night before to let it all freeze back up.
The next day it will be all hardened back up and ready to serve.
Frozen Raspberry Dessert
- 1 container raspberry sherbet
- 1 container pineapple sherbet
- 1 container vanilla ice cream
- 1 can pineapple tidbits drained ( or you can use fresh pineapple chunks - I used fresh)
- 1 package frozen raspberries
- 2 sliced bananas
Let the sherbets and one ice cream container softened a bit, to prepare for mixing.
In a big bowl that will fit in your freezer (be sure to check first!), mix all the ingredients together.
Cover it all up with plastic wrap and freeze overnight or until you're ready to serve it.
Scoop it up and enjoy the smooth creaminess and the tart chunks of tropical fruit in this pink(!) frozen raspberry dessert.
