Glow in the dark Skeleton

I’ve had fun trying out all the different paints and mediums of DecoArt (a current sponsor of NoBiggie).

Since it’s a Thursday, and I’m missing my Thrifty Thursday posts (I’m dying to go thrifting, it’s been too long), here is a thrifty idea: we all have those Halloween decorations that we pull out each year, knowing that they are kinda “hokey” but the kids love them. Well, for us it’s this little wooden skeleton.

Instead of buying more “hokey” Halloween decor, why not
jazz up what you got with a little glow in the dark paint!

With a little DecoArt glow-in-the-dark paint, I was able to transform this little skeleton into something the kids love more.

Isn’t glow in the dark paint cool?! perfect for Halloween.

Another DecoArt paint I’m loving, is the chalkboard paint. I’m sharing a simple craft on Make and Takes today, using their chalkboard paint.

I wanted to say a big thanks again to DecoArt for sponsoring Marie and I to go to the Creative Connection Event. That was such an inspiring weekend.

Love this idea. I’d like to hang a flock of glowing bats in the trees…invisible by day, all eerie-glowing at night!
    I found you through TCB…cheers!
