Hi friends! I’m excited to share a new collaboration I’ll be featuring each month this year. I’m teaming up with 7 great blogs in a blog hop to bring you 8 new printables for all the big holidays and special dates this year. We’re offering a cute paper airplane Valentine.
To start the year off, it’s all about Valentine’s Day this month, cute classroom Valentines for your little ones to take to school.
For our printable Valentine, we’ve created a double sided paper airplane that reads: “You make my heart SOAR”. It has a place to write your child’s name and the name of a classmate on the underside.
The inspiration for our Valentine – a paper airplane, came from Cathe Holden and her airmail paper airplane. Also ever since the Disney short Paper Man, I see paper airplanes in a new way…so romantic!
This would also be a fun Valentine for a boy to take to school because it has no pink. 😉
Here’s a short How-To video to show you how to fold it up. Once you have it printed on both sides, you will get 4 paper airplanes out of one sheet. Say there are 25 kids in your child’s classroom, you will print out 6 sheets to equal 24 + 1 extra.
I know a lot of moms who like the idea of non-candy Valentines at school since there is always so much candy.
Well this paper airplane doubles as “the toy” and the Valentine in one!
*Due to the popularity of this printable it is now being offered as a Two Dollar Download. For two dollars you can download it and print it as many time as you’d like. PLEASE NOTE: If the fold lines don’t match up when you print the PDF, make sure you change the print option from ‘Actual Size’ to ‘Fit’ or ‘Fit to Size’ in the print dialogue box.
