Surprise…is how I felt Friday morning when I saw the post that Kyle did for my birthday. In fact it brought me to tears. Partly because it was sooo nice and partly because I was embarrassed by the extra long 3 minutes of mediocre cheer moves (You’re Welcome Internet). Once you hit publish it is out there, and there is no turning back. I know this oh too well…in fact, I always get a bit nervous every time I click that button. After a small panic attack, I came to the realization of a few things:
- No one cares about my blog but me…it’s no biggie.
- I am so lucky to be married to a man that gets it…and by ‘gets it’, I mean gets what a freak I am about my birthday.
- As much as I say I don’t love to be surprised, in the end, I guess I do…maybe just not a ‘Surprise’ on the internet.
I had a great birthday. Thank you for all the kind comments, posts, emails, calls, texts, dinners out and a Superbowl party in. What a fun weekend to have a birthday.
