10 Minute Homemade Hot Fudge

In just 10 minutes, you can make the best homemade hot fudge sauce.

  • 1 cup butter two sticks
  • 1 14oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (do not use milk chocolate chips)
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Place the butter, evaporated milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and powdered sugar in a medium-sized sauce pan over medium-high heat. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil and continue to boil for 6 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat and whisk the vanilla into the hot fudge.
  3. Let it cool slightly, and serve warm . Store any leftover hot fudge in a jar in the refrigerator to be warmed up later.
