We love this easy teriyaki chicken recipe. It makes the best week night meal.
We’re taking our favorite chicken marinade and using it as a sauce for the best teriyaki chicken. We’re crazy for this super easy four ingredient chicken marinade. When you reduce it down, it makes a delicious teriyaki sauce for chicken. There’s a few different ways to cook the chicken. You can grill it or pan sear it. We found it works great when you do both!
If you grill up a bunch of chicken with the marinade and if you’re lucky enough to have some chicken breasts leftover, the next night, you can make teriyaki chicken.
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 6 chicken breasts grilled
- 1 cup white rice steamed
- 1 head broccoli florets
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
Shred the cooked grilled chicken.
Mix together the brown sugar, oil, soy sauce and vinegar. In a big frying pan toss the shredded cooked chicken around in the sauce mixture at medium high heat, until the sauce evaporates and thickens and the chicken is well coated.
Serve over steamed rice with steamed broccoli.
Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and enjoy!
