Gift ideas for the men in your life.
Every year at this time, I’m always stumped as to what to get Kyle for Christmas. Why is it that the ones we love the most are always the ones who are the hardest to shop for. Sometimes it helps to think back through the year and really think about what his needs really are. So often we each just buy what we need right on the spot when we need it, so the gift giving can be a little tricky. It turns out I didn’t have to go very far to find the perfect gift for him this year.
While shopping at my local Home Depot, I was thrilled to find a great drill kit by Ryobi. It’s one of those things that he definitely needs…we all need it. It will come in handy for both of us. Hopefully Kyle won’t see this post (uh oh, look away ). I’m horrible at keeping secrets. 😉
I also found a great storage organizer for the garage to hold small odds and ends, along with some good heavy duty bright flashlights. I love buying things like flashlights, because they’re great for 72 hour emergency kits. Plus they make great stocking stuffers.
Some of the nicest people work at my Home Depot. From the moment I walked in, there’s always someone close by who can help me find what I need right away. This is Karen, she was great. She really knows her stuff.
I hurried home with my purchases to wrap them up quick. I’m behind in the wrapping department this year, but hopefully I can use this for motivation for the big wrap session coming up soon. Because I love seeing the presents piled up under the tree .
My little helper. 🙂
I’m excited for Kyle to open it on Christmas morning…12 days til Christmas! The countdown is on!
I’d love to know… (mostly because I need more ideas)…what are you giving your special someone this year?
*This post is sponsored by The Home Depot a great place to shop for him.
You are so cute. And so is your dog. Merry Christmas!
Thank you Christine! So nice! 🙂 Merry Christmas to you too! 🙂
Yep, most of the best gifts for my husband have come from The Homd Depot, probably because he uses them and loves to work on projects. He is getting a new Ryobi lithium battery for all his Ryobi tools this year!
Awesome! I love to hear this! I bet he will love it! 🙂
Merry Christmas!
The truth be told, I got distracted by your cute helper!! He’s so cute!!
haha! Thank you! 🙂
My oldest son is moving into his first apt. so he is getting a coffee pot, vacuum and other household things, probably not what he wants, but what he needs!
Happy Holidays!
That’s exciting and his gifts…not so exciting. 🙂 But some years that’s just how it goes. 🙂
I love that you took pics of you actually wrapping the gifts…not just your hands doing it or just the unwrapped then wrapped gift. I have really been trying hard to have more pics taken of ME. I’m usually the one taking the pics in our family. I enjoyed this post!! Thanks. 🙂
haha! Thanks Jamie! I prefer to be on the other side of the camera, but I agree with you it’s important for us (the documenters) to be part of the story too. 🙂
A handheld makita battery operated blower! Shhh…don’t tell. And it’s from Home Depot too. Oh and a ukelele. He has said throughout the year how fun he thought it would be!
So cool! He will love it! Merry Christmas April!
