Our Christmas Card 2013
I hope you all are enjoying your day, a fun filled Christmas Day. Merry Christmas! I wish I could send you all our Christmas card in the mail…but this will have to do instead. Here’s our family Christmas card for 2013. Christmas cards are one of my absolute favorite things this time of year. Going to the mail box in December is the best.
Here’s the front of our card. The photos were all taken by Shanna Michelle photography. She did such a great job, and I love how she captured us this year.
On the back is a collage of a bunch of different photos from that day. We also included a QR code to scan that links to our yearly family letter – 2013 year in review – highlights from the year. If you have your smart phone near by and your feeling “techie”, you can scan the QR code right from the screen of your computer. I love the QR code because it incorporates both old and new together.
I had my favorite little postal helper Aiden help me stamp each one. Christmas cards and washi tape seem to be a perfect match…a chance to use up my stash.
Because it’s fun to look back, here’s a look at our Christmas cards from years gone by:

Also here’s a fun idea for recycling old Christmas cards.
Oh Happy Day to you and yours, so thankful for the life and example of our Savior as we celebrate his love and his life on this special day. Thank you for reading and sharing the recipes and creative ideas I have posted here over the years. I love what I do and I so appreciate your kindness and support through comments, pins and sharing. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

I love your Christmas card ideas so much! This year I sent out postcards from Overnight Prints (thanks for that recommendation, I have used them several times for everything from birth announcements to thank you cards, and even made my moms Christmas cards into postcards and got them printed there too). And for the past few years I have also used a QR code to link to a year in review. My techy loving husband thinks it’s super awesome, and everyone is always so impressed.
