Have you ever made sweet potato fries at home in your oven? How about carrot fries?? You’ve got to try it! It’s one of our favorite ways to eat carrots. They’re such a healthy and colorful alternative to regular fries. Try roasting them in your oven at a high temperature to get that delicious caramelization that adds so much flavor.
You can use this same method with so many different vegetables too, like green beans, zucchini, and peppers.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Slice the carrots into thin “fry” like pieces, trying to keep them all in similar sizes. Bake on a big baking pan lined with parchment paper. Toss the carrot sticks in olive oil and season well with salt, pepper and (if you’d like) your favorite seasonings. Spread the carrot sticks out on your baking pan and bake. Bake for about 20 minutes rotating, and tossing the carrot fries over for even baking.
