Feed a crowd with this delicious Creamy Crock Pot Hot Chocolate.
When it comes to feeding a crowd, the slow cooker aka crock pot is such a big help! Slow cooker or crockpot…whatever you call it, this recipe for creamy hot chocolate made in your crockpot is the best you’ll ever have. Forget the dry powder hot cocoa mix and go right for the good stuff.
The recipe is really simple. I’ve made this with milk chocolate chips and semisweet chocolate chips for a more decadent chocolate flavor. I love using Guittard brand milk chocolate chips…they are the best!
What’s your favorite way to top hot chocolate? Marshmallows, whipped cream, or how about these cute cool whip shapes.
Creamy Crockpot Hot Chocolate
Rich, creamy and decadent Hot Chocolate. Made and served in your crock pot. We love to feed a crowd with this recipe.
- 6 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz.
- 1 package milk chocolate chips 12. oz
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Add all ingredients to your crock pot set to low for 2 hours. Stir every 10 minutes or so to make sure it's well combined. Once all the chocolate chips are melted turn it down to the warm setting.
Optional: You could also set the crockpot to high for less time and stir more frequently. Once all the chocolate is melted you can turn the crockpot down to warm.
