Hot Chipped Beef Dip Appetizer

We love this old fashioned recipe for a delicious warm creamy dip. It's always a crowd pleaser.

  • 8oz. package cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup green bell pepper chopped
  • 4 green onions diced fine
  • 1 package Buddig Beef lunch meat
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts


  1. Combine all ingredients (minus the walnuts).
  2. Put in a small casserole dish.
  3. Top with chopped walnuts.
  4. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Serve with large Fritos, preferably Frito Scoops

Recipe Notes

*A few notes...If you plan on bring this appetizer with you to a party, and you need it warm for serving, you can microwave it.  If the oven is occupied where you are headed. Microwave it once you arrive to make sure it's hot and or warm when you serve it. Microwave for 4 minutes, or less time depending on the microwave.

Frito Scoops are bigger and better for dipping than regular Fritos.
