Grilled Flank Steak

The best marinade for a Grilled Flank Steak.

Author: Kami | NoBiggie.net
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ pound flank steak with the fat trimmed off
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh if you have it)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced finely
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • a dash of cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Mix all of the ingredients (minus the steak) in a dish and pour it into a heavy duty zip lock bag.

  2. Add the flank steak and marinate for up to 24 hours.

  3. Heat the grill to medium high heat and grill the meat for about 7 minutes on each side. When nicely browned, let it rest on the pan for a few minutes. Slice and serve. The secret to flank steak is to slice it thinly across the grain of the meat at a downward angle.
