Classic Swedish Meatballs are pure comfort food perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Sauté the minced onion in one tablespoon butter until tender, not brown.
In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
Beat in the flour and egg, and gradually beat in the cream into the meat mixture. Now add the cooked chopped onion. The mixture should be light and fluffy.
Form the meat mixture into meatballs. Lightly brown the meatballs in a little butter in a large sauté pan set to medium high heat.
Shake the skillet as you brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove the excess fat.
