Out of all 25 recipes I worked on as part of the big re-shoot project for Kaboose.com which is now Spoonful, there is one that was a big hit with our kids: Wafflewiches!
Two eggo waffles – PB & J – a banana…and you have yourself breakfast! Probably not the most healthy breakfast around, but there is a banana in there. 🙂
You should try them…you’ll be hooked!

Those actually look delicious! I don't keep Eggos around, but I'll make a double batch of homemade whole wheat waffles and freeze them for later. Using them like sandwiches? Great idea.

My kids have been making toaster waffle sandwiches forever. We don't use banana (not too many banana lovers here) but PB&J? Load it up!

I have never seen these. What a great idea!

mmm those look really good!!

My kids would go for these for sure. We use the whole grain waffles and all natural peanut butter so I'm guessing it's better than some cereals. Thanks for the idea!

Those look so good! That's my breakfast for tomorrow, for sure!

Those look magically delicious…making them with regular waffles tomorrow morning!

The waffle recipe sounds good. My toddler has a corn allergy so he can’t have waffles. Is there meals anyone can help me with that don’t have corn? Need help! No corn starch or corn fructose syrup either. It takes a lot of foods out of the meals.

Oh wow! That is a hard one. I wish I knew! Corn is in everything! Yikes!
