Hap-Hap-Happy Haloween Weekend! We had to give the costumes a little run through before the big parade tomorrow and the fun weekend ahead. They all fit great except the little green one’s hat…it’s a little snug, but good enough.
Along with a test drive of the costumes, we had a little test drive of the candy. Whatever works, right?!
Happy Halloween! {from the little devils and the little green one}

We were at party and a friend was going to serve soup baked in a pumpkin and as she took it out of the oven, it broke and soup EVERYWHERE. Not good. So no pumpkin soup. Sloppy joes.

I've always wanted to try soup in a pumpkin, now I think I'l pass on that one.
Cute critters at your home!
Sounds like the candy passed the test!
Happy Halloween!

I'm thinking some browned butter and mizithra cheese tomorrow night will do the trick! Then for Sunday, we are doing homemade Cafe Rio pork salads.
Happy Halloween to you guys! See you around the neighborhood!

Adorable! I have no idea what's for dinner. Pizza?

Your dog is so freaking cute. Don't worry, your kids are too, but I have an extra soft spot for dogs. 🙂

I envy that beautiful hair color.

Darling costumes Kami!
For dinner…hmmm…probably pizza. I have a friend who always makes her family chili to eat right before trick-or-treating. I think that sounds like such a fun tradition! Except my kids won't eat chili. 🙂

I love the costumes!! Jane is going to be a "Devil Goddess" too:)
We are having Baked Potatoes this year since none of my kids will eat our traditional Chili and Breadsticks.

We will be eating candy for dinner.

I'm a firm believer that all costumes should include the family dog.
We usually do chili or creamy chicken tortilla soup. There's a little bakery here that makes individual soup bowls shaped and colored as pumpkins so they are always a must have!
Amanda says
great costumes, hope it's a great evening for trick or treatin'! we'll be enjoying a crock of cheeseburger soup.
Tauni says
What?! Your dog lets you put a costume on it? I tried. Once. My dog danced and pranced around until her cape was upside down and she could wriggle out of it…
Jami says
I love the costumes… especially that you got your dog to wear one. (mine may have eaten it!) I am hosting a Costume Parade. Stop by and link up if you'd like! 🙂
