These Rice Krispie Treats are the perfect holiday gift. So festive and simple, everyone will love them!
Butter the dish.
Melt the 1/2 stick of butter in a big pot on your stovetop.
Add in the mini marshmallows and continue stirring as they start to melt.
The consistency of the marshmallows should still be lumpy when the cereal goes into the pot.
Dump in the cereal (don't measure), continue stirring until well mixed together.
Transfer the treats to your buttered dish.
Butter your (clean) fingers to pat the warm treats down into the pan. Or use a piece of parchment between the treats and your hands to gently press the treats into the pan.
Cut your treats using a Christmas tree mold, or if you don't have one, just cut into triangles with a buttered knife.
Add your candy, drizzle your white chocolate, and dump your sprinkles to make your rice krispy treat festive and pretty.
