Ingredients
  • 36 Oreos (1 regular 14.3oz. package) reserve 2 Oreos for crushed topping
  • 1 8oz. package cream cheese softened
  • 1 12oz. bag Bright White Wilton Candy melts and or Guittard Milk Chocolate Chips
Instructions
  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Place Oreos in a food processor (reserve 2 cookies for the crushed topping) Add the entire cookie, do not remove the cream filling. Pulse the cookies until all are crushed finely.

  3. Add the cream cheese and pulse in bursts until the mixture is well combined.
  4. Scoop the mixture out with an ice cream scoop for easy scooping…about one tablespoon size scoops. Form the scoops into 1 inch balls on the lined sheet pan (or cookie sheet).
  5. Place the sheet pan with the truffles into the freezer for 15 minutes.
  6. In a sandwich sized plastic bag crush the remaining 2 Oreos.
  7. In a glass bowl using the microwave, melt the candy melts at 1 minute intervals at a time until melted.
  8. Remove truffles from freezer and dip into the melted chocolate or white chocolate. Use a spoon to cover them on all sides with the chocolate. Allow the excess chocolate to fall back into the bowl.
  9. Return the dipped truffles to the sheet pan, immediately top with the crushed Oreos to finish them off. You can also drizzle chocolate over the top for a decorative look. Allow the chocolate to set.
  10. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freeze if desired.
