Puff Pastry French Toast

A simple and easy breakfast with all the flavor of french toast.

Ingredients
  • 1 box puff pastry sheets
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar
  • powdered sugar for finish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Working one puff pastry sheet at a time, open up the sheet of puff pastry to a lightly floured surface and gently roll it out flat to measure about a 12x12 inch square.

  3. Whisk the eggs and vanilla extract together until the yolk and whites are combined well.

  4. Brush the puff pastry sheet with the egg mixture and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar

  5. With a rolling pizza cutter cut the puff pastry into 9 squares and place on to a parchment lined sheet pan. Keeping each piece about ½ inch apart

  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

  7. Out of the oven dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm with fresh berries and syrup.
