Kiwi Sorbet

Simple Kiwi Sorbet: An easy frozen treat with only 3 ingredients!

Author: Kami - NoBiggie.net
  • 8-10 Kiwi fruits
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lime juiced
  1. Cut kiwis in half and remove the skins by gently running a large spoon around the skin to scoop out the inside. Add the kiwi insides into a food processor or blender and pulse 3-4 times; enough for everything to smooth out.

  2. Make a simple syrup with the lime juice and sugar in a small sauce pan set over medium high heat. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves into the liquid.

  3. Pour the sugar and lime juice mixture into the food processor and pulse a few more times, until the kiwis liquefy and no chunks remain. Do not over mix, or you will start to puree the kiwi seeds.

  4. Pour mixture into a freezer safe container. Allow to chill in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

  5. Once frozen, scoop into a bowl to serve. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

If you prefer, you can substitute the sugar with 5-6 tablespoons honey.
