Salty Sweet Corn Puffs

Salty Sweet Corn Puffs are so delicious..crunchy and melt in your mouth, salty and sweet. They are so good, and so addicting!

  • 1 8oz. package puffed corn
  • 1 cup salted butter (2 sticks)
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  1. Lightly spray a large bowl with non stick cooking spray. Pour all the puffed corn pops into the bowl.
  2. Line two sheet pans with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium sized sauce pan add the butter and melt it at medium high heat.

  4. Add the water, sugar and corn syrup.

  5. Continue to stir the ingredients together on medium high heat until it boils and starts to turn a golden yellow color. To reach this color, it takes about 8-10 minutes.

  6. Pour the golden yellow sugar mixture all over the puffed corn. With a high heat spoon, stir to help the mixture evenly coat all of the puffed corn.

  7. Once all the puffed corn pops are coated with the mixture, pour the puffed corn pops onto the sheet pans lined with parchment paper. Allow the puffed corn pops to cool for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
