Ingredients
One Ingredient Ice Cream
  • 6 frozen bananas
Dairy Free Salted Caramel Sauce
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
One Ingredient Ice Cream
  1. Slice the frozen bananas.

  2. Using the end of a hard plastic spoon, push the bananas down into the blender.

  3. Start blending, stopping along the way to assist your blender with air pockets by moving the banana mixture down to the bottom of the blender. Blend until smooth.

  4. You can eat it as is in it's soft serve consistency or freeze it for a few hours (with plastic wrap over the top) and scoop it out onto a cone or into a cup. Enjoy!

Dairy Free Salted Caramel Sauce
  1. Place the coconut sugar, coconut milk and salt in a small sauce pan.
  2. On medium high heat continue stirring mixture to help dissolve the sugar.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer, and cook for 10 -15 minutes.
  4. The sauce will thicken more as it cools down.
  5. Finish it off by adding in the vanilla extract. Serve it warm.
Recipe Notes

This sauce will keep in a jar in your fridge for a week+. The sauce may harden as it cools to room temp, you can warm small portions at a time in a microwave safe container.
