Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 15oz. can pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 Cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 Cup water
  • 3 1/2 Cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves *optional
  • 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips *optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350. Prepare 2 - 9x5 baking pans with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Cream sugar and oil together. Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
  3. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. *Stir in the mini semi sweet chocolate chips at this point if you desire.

  4. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 30 or more minutes in the pan before cutting into the bread. Enjoy!
