Baked Apple and Brie Tarts

A savory and sweet appetizer that looks fancy, but is super easy to make.

Ingredients
Tart Shell
  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 2 cups apples chopped and peeled
  • brie cheese about 24+ one inch squares
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
For the Glaze:
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Cut the phyllo dough into squares and fit them into muffin tins.

  2. In a sauce pan set to medium high heat cook the chopped apples in a bit of water. Add the sugar and cinnamon to taste until it thickens.

  3. Add a piece of Brie cheese about an inch square into each phyllo dough cup and top with the cooked apples.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees until the phyllo dough turns brown and the apple filling starts to bubble.

  5. When cool, frost with the glaze. Serve warm.
