Homemade ketchup

  • 1 small can of Organic Tomato Paste 1/2 cup
  • 1/3 cup raw organic unfiltered local honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 garlic clove minced (1/2 teaspoon)
  • 1/2 cup onion sliced and diced so small


  1. In a saucepan on medium high heat, bring all ingredients to a boil whisk together until well combined and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring ever so often. The sauce will thicken and the flavors will blend.
  2. Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, you can transfer to a small jar and keep in the fridge up to two weeks, or freeze it in ice cube trays and use it when you need it.
