Mini Apple Brie Turnovers

Ingredients
  • 1 box Puff Pastry sheets
  • 4 apples peeled and cut up
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 package brie cheese
For the Glaze:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • powdered sugar desired amount
Instructions
  1. Thaw frozen puff pastry.

  2. Put apples in saucepan with 1/2 cup water, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring until apples are tender. Let cool.

  3. Cut strips of puff pastry and then cut them into small squares and then cut the squares into triangles. Put a small amount of cooked cinnamon apples onto each triangle of pastry, then a small slice of Brie Cheese. Seal 3 sides leaving one open.

  4. Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
  5. Cool slightly and drizzle with the glaze.
