Sticky Ring

Sticky Ring (aka Monkey Bread) is one of our favorite special occasion breakfasts! It's so easy to make ahead to have more time to enjoy breakfast with your loved ones.

Ingredients
  • 16 - 18 frozen dinner rolls slightly thawed and cut in half (Rhodes brand dough works great!)
  • 1 small box (3.5oz. size) butterscotch jello pudding Cook and Serve (not the instant kind)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup pecans *optional
Instructions
  1. Spray your bundt pan with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Cut all the rolls into quarters.

  3. *If adding pecans...sprinkle the pecans into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Drop the rolls into the bottom of the pan.
  5. In a sauce pan set to medium heat, melt the butter. Add the pudding mix, brown sugar and cinnamon and stir until it is a smooth caramel type sauce.

  6. Pour this hot mixture over the rolls making sure to cover all the tops. Be sure to use up all the sauce, it's the best part!
  7. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  8. Before baking, remove plastic wrap and let it sit at room temp for 30-40 minutes.
  9. Put in cold oven and set temp to 350.
  10. Bake for 35 minutes, but watch the top and cover with foil if it gets too brown.
  11. Take out of oven and immediately invert onto a large serving plate. Serve warm.
