Chicken Crescent Bundles

Little bundles of seasoned cream cheese and shredded chicken inside the pockets of Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough.

Author: Kami | NoBiggie.net
Ingredients
  • 2 8oz. cans Pillsbury Crescent roll dough
  • 3-4 cups cooked shredded chicken *we love rotisserie chicken
  • 1 8oz. block cream cheese
  • 1/2 packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer) set with the whisk attachment add the chicken and turn the mixer on to the slow to medium speed to shred the chicken. Shred the chicken to a fine shred.
  3. Add the cream cheese, salt and pepper and the Italian dressing mix to the chicken in the bowl. Turn it to low to medium speed and mix the softened cream cheese with the chicken and seasoning until it is well combined.

  4. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Open the tubes of crescent roll dough. Keeping two triangles of dough together to form a rectangle of dough, lay the rectangles of dough (4 at a time) on the sheet pan.
  5. Place about 1/2 cup measurement of the chicken mixture onto the center of the dough. Fold the edges of the dough up and over to form a little pouch or bundle. You can use a fork to press the edges together to seal the chicken mixture in.
  6. Bake in the oven for 9-12 minutes.
  7. Serve warm and top with gravy if desired.
Recipe Notes

*Serve with gravy. You can make the gravy from scratch or from Better than Bouillon chicken flavor...or from cream of chicken soup.

Freeze unbaked bundles on a sheet pan until solid. Can be frozen for 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge. Bake as directed.
