Slow Cooker Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Chocolate dipped strawberries using your slow cooker (the best way!)

Author: Kami | NoBiggie.net
Ingredients
  • fresh strawberries long stem or regular
  • chocolate your choice...we love Guittard milk chocolate, but use your favorite
  • bright white candy melts *optional for drizzling
  • sprinkles we used micro heart sprinkle mix
Tools Needed:
  • slow cooker
  • slow cooker liner for easy cleanup
  • sheet pan
  • parchment paper
Instructions
  1. Prepare your strawberries: rinse them and dry them completely

  2. Line your slow cooker / crock pot with a slow cooker liner. It’s a must for easy clean up.

  3. Plug in your slow cooker and set it to the lowest setting.

  4. Add the chocolate into the bottom of your slow cooker and allow the chocolate to sit undisturbed for at least 30 minutes with the lid on.

  5. You will know when the chocolate is ready when it starts to look shiny and starts to melt.

  6. Give it a stir with a rubber scraper. When it looks smooth after stirring, you are ready to start to dip.

  7. Next to your slow cooker have a sheet pan lined with parchment paper ready to go to place the strawberries on after they have been dipped in the melted chocolate.

  8. Dip each strawberry in the chocolate and place onto the parchment paper.

  9. *Optional: before the chocolate sets drizzle them with a little bright white candy melts that you melt in a small bowl warmed in the microwave. Sprinkle with sprinkles or holiday sprinkles.

  10. Move the sheet pan into the fridge to allow the chocolate to set and harden. Take out of the fridge once the chocolate is set. Enjoy them within 48 hours.
