Pepper Steak Stir Fry with thin sliced steak cooked with green bell peppers in a savory sauce. A great weeknight meal that tastes like take out.
Brown the steak in hot oil in a heavy skillet. (If using round steak simmer with a little water for about an hour to tenderize it.)
Add the vegetables. Cook for 15 more minutes.
Stir 4 teaspoons cornstarch and 4 tablespoons water into a smooth paste. Add slowly to the beef mixture. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils. Serve over steamed rice.
