Delicious juicy meatloaf topped with a sweet and tangy glaze

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup onions minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
For the Glaze
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey raw and unfiltered

  1. Preheat your oven to 350.

  2. Mix the egg and the water together first. Add in all the other ingredients and mix well.

  3. Lightly spray your pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add the meatloaf mixture into the loaf pan.

For the Meatloaf Glaze:
  1. Mix together the meatloaf topping ingredients. Spread the topping over the meatloaf. Bake for 1 hour.

  2. Serve it with baked potatoes, and a steamed vegetable. It's a great dinner for a Monday Night.

Recipe Notes

*Optional shortcut: you can omit the salt and fresh minced onion and instead add one packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix to the meatloaf mixture before baking.
