Homemade Garlic Butter

Homemade garlic butter is so easy to make. It's great on french bread, seafood, chicken, steak and even pizza! It also freezes great too!

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks butter unsalted, room temperature
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil minced
  • 1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl add the two sticks of soft room temp butter and whip the butter with your hand mixer.
  2. Add in the minced garlic, grated parmesan cheese, dried oregano, minced basil leaves, salt and pepper.
  3. Continue to whip all ingredients until well combined.
  4. Transfer to a small mason jar to store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  5. It can also keep in the freezer for up to 12 months. It’s helpful to store it in smaller quantities for easy usage.
  6. TO MAKE GARLIC BREAD
  7. Spread on a large loaf of french bread that has been cut lengthwise.
  8. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  9. *Optional finish off the garlic bread by changing from bake to broil for 3 more minutes to crisp up the top. Watch it closely so it doesn’t burn.
