For the longest time, I’ve been in love with the look of felt ball rugs. All those bright colors together in one round felt carpet just make me happy. The nice people of Felt Ball Rug reached out to see if I’d like to receive a multicolored rug in exchange for review, and after learning more about their company and the positive impact it provides women in Nepal, I was happy to share it with you.
So with a little bribery (deli meat) our new puppy Tiny Tubbs is happily modeling the felt ball rug, they sent us. Isn’t it so fun?! Long time readers, know our sweet dog of 12 years (Rukkus) sadly passed away last summer. After four and a half months, we were ready to have a dog in our home again. We welcomed little Tubbs into our family early last December. He’s been so fun to have in our home. He’s also been a total puppy chewing (destroying) waay too many things. I have to keep reminding Kyle that the cuteness is all worth it. 🙂
Did you know that every Felt Ball Rug is handmade by women in Nepal. I loved learning that all the women who work for FeltBallRug.com are able to work from home, so they’re able to take care of their families and earn money at the same time. When you order a rug the name of the women who handmade your rug is on the tag and you can send her a personal email to thank her if you’d like. You can learn more about the artisans on this short video:
All those colorful felt balls sewn tightly together are so beautiful. I want this rug to stay nice for a long time, so as soon as I can, I’d like to securely hang it on the wall. I was thinking it could double as a work of art as well as a place to pin up inspiration in my office/craft room. Tiny pushpins can hold quotes and things where we can see them. The quality of this rug is excellent.
Tiny Tubbs is pretty happy about it too…but mostly I am. He’s pretty happy about the deli meat in my hand. 😉
Or I could just use it as a rug. It does look great with our hard wood floors. What do you think should I put it up on the wall, or use it as a rug?
