Halloween Decor 2012 – I wanted to share our Halloween decor. I’m slowly bringing things up and changing things around.
The newest addition is this #31. I’ve had a few people ask what the 31 is for. Ha! Like it’s someone’s birthday or something. Made me laugh. You know…31 for the 31st of October…Halloween. 🙂
If you’d like to make something similar, it’s really easy. I had a piece of black and white chevron fabric that I just wrapped around a canvas and hot glued around the edges. The 31 is white vinyl on a pie tin that I sprayed with shiny black spray paint. I hung the plate on the canvas by hot gluing the orange bow to the plate and hooking it on a nail from behind to hang it.
Paper ghosts in the graveyard on wooden skewers. The ghosts are made with a cutting die from Lifestyle Crafts. (You can get 20% off all Lifestyle crafts dies with promo code NOBIGGIE at checkout)
Metal trees from Ikea (sprayed black) with spiders and spider webs. I also added spooky words. You might remember these words from the Halloween printable we shared last month.
And this little jack o lantern under a cloche. I spray painted the jack o lantern gold. The candle stick was thrifted and sprayed black and the cloche is from Hobby Lobby.
Now…onto decorating outside! Bwahahaha!
Have a great beautiful autumn weekend!
