Chill Out with this delicious Strawberry Lemonade Slush.
Oh my…it’s been so hot out lately. How are you surviving? We are downing the frozen treats like mad to stay cool. Like this strawberry lemonade slush. The recipe is so good and easy…you’ll feel like you’re eating one of those overpriced frozen lemonades, but nope…you made it yourself. Get your blender out, you need this STAT!
This recipe comes from the Six Sisters cookbook. A year with Six Sisters’ Stuff is their second cookbook. I’ll be honest…as much as I love to cook, when it comes to meal and menu planning, I struggle.
It’s hard to know what to pair with main courses and what to serve for dessert. In their newest book, they help you menu plan every meal with a main course, a side and a dessert.
With permission, I’m excited to share one of the recipes from the book: strawberry lemonade slush.
Strawberry Lemonade Slush
Refreshing Strawberry Lemonade Slush is a delicious Summer treat on a hot day.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup lemonade concentrate thawed
- 1 10-ounce package frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed
- 3/4 cup ice cubes
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda
Instructions
-
In a blender, combine water, lemonade concentrate, strawberries, and ice. Blend until fully incorporated. Pour mixture into a freezer container and freeze for at least 12 hours. (It can be stored in the freezer up to 3 months.)
-
When ready to serve, remove from freezer and let stand at room temperature about 1 hour before serving. Divide frozen slush into 4 large glasses and pour 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda in each cup. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings, but can easily be doubled.

We all love this! In fact, wish I could just lay pool side the rest of the Summer and order one up daily! (I wish!) If you’d like to check out the book, you can buy it on Amazon Here.

How many servings does this recipe make?
kami says
Not sure exactly, it depends on the serving size. I’d say it serves 4 to be safe.

This looks delicious! Quick question… Under the “adaptation” you say you blended it before serving …. Does that mean you skipped the freezing part or you blended the lemon lime drink in at that time?
kami says
Yes, just blend it in at that time.
