Here’s a look at Week five and six of our Project Life album. I will be double timin’ it over the next few weeks to catch up.
I’m so glad that I’m sticking with this Project Life scrapbook. Probably the thing keeping me most accountable is blogging it here, so thank you. My kids LOVE that I’m doing it. They love to see all the pictures (of themselves 🙂 ).
Week 5 was a bit of CHA 2012 and my birthday! My favorite thing about my birthday this year, the homemade cards from the kids and breakfast in bed from Kyle. It was a fun surprise.
The night I returned home from CHA, we all went out to eat at our favorite “dive-y” Mexican joint. Their fried ice cream is the best. Four spoons, and it’s gone in a flash!
I loved Aiden’s faces in the pictures I took of them holding their homemade birthday cards for me. He cracks me up. Avery wrote Kyle the sweetest little note, that I stapled in. She’ll love seeing it years down the road.
With week 6, I got a little picture printing happy, so every spot has a photo with just a quick journal bit on either masking tape or washi tape. I’m loving the washi tape and masking tape for this. Here I used the Months Border die and a nesting eyelet circle cut in half.
A lot of my pics are iPhone pictures since it’s just so convenient to capture everyday life. I’m really trying to make an effort in getting out the big camera. I know I’ll always be glad I did.
This side of Week 6 is all the Valentine-y decor and that help represent that week here at our house.
