Yippee! It’s Friday!
This week has been crazy around here. Here’s a bit of what’s been going on with us lately. This week has worked me over! I signed both our kids up for Spring soccer, and their new schedules have kept me hopin’. Here’s a few pictures I’ve snapped this week.
Aiden has been so funny about his “soccer uniform”. He wants to wear it everyday. I had to hide his shinguards and cleats on Sunday, otherwise he would have tried to wear them to church.
I have loved watching both kids practice, especially the 4 year old boys. They are a hoot to watch. So funny!
Have I ever mentioned that I love where I live? I mean… c’mon. That view?! Those mountains in the background? It’s pretty darn amazing. Mount Timpanogos with it’s white sno-capped peaks is stunning this time of year. If it wasn’t so dang cold outside.
Aiden hitching a ride with Kyle on his bike. Kyle’s thrilled that it’s finally warm enough to be back riding his road bike regularly again.
Sunday morning, we woke up to find Avery’s hamster was missing. Oh my! Seriously, I’m not a fan of having a hamster to begin with, and the idea of the little thing on the loose in my house. EEEK! Oh gosh! It was awful. We heard a bunch of awful stories about hamsters on the loose and smells…and things that are just gross. Oh the joys. 😉
Thankfully, Avery along with her friends were able to find it Monday afternoon in the basement. Phew! What a relief!
Hopefully it will live for a while, because when it goes, we are done. Or I should say, I am done. Getting a hamster, is one of those things I still can’t believe I said yes to. The only kind of pet I can do is the best kind of pet…a dog. The best one around too, little Rukkus “ralphy”.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
I have fun plans this weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day early with my mom and sisters, we have a tradition. And on Sunday, Kyle and I celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary!
Do you have fun plans for Cinco De Mayo?
