We’re having a donut party, and you’re invited!
I’ve teamed up with the darling Bridget from Bake at 350, and today it’s all about donuts, donut cookies and donut printables. When Bridget invited me to make some fun tags to go along with her adorable cookies, I was like HECK YES, (please)! I love Bridget, and I love her cookies!
When Bridget’s new book came out last year, I was all over the cute pumpkin pie cookies, and this time around it’s cookies that look like donuts! She’s making the donut cookies and we made some fun tags to go with them, so it’s a donut party!
We (Kyle and I) had fun coming up with some of these donut sayings like:
– DONUT mind if I do! (said in a your best twangy accent, of course)
– Oh no you DONUT (accompanied with the snap-snap-snap)
– DONUT you know I love you?
and some favorite songs:
– DONUT go breakin’ my heart
– DONUT stop believing
– DONUT worry be happy
– DONUT you forget about me
We could have kept on going, but these were our favorites that made the cut.
Along with this one…a little nod to Bridget and her cute cookies. 🙂
We also made some donut party flags.
To make the flags, I used wood skewers and I cut them in half so they would be short. I then used washi tape and a glue dot for the saying. Just wrap them around and use scissors to cut them to look like little flags. Super simple.
It would be a fun way to greet your donut party friends.
Now…for the donut cookies…aren’t they cute?! You’ll have to head over to Bridget for the recipe and the How-To.
She even has mini donut hole towers! Oh no she ‘DONUT’! 😉 …oh yes she did!
You can download your donut party printables here and your donut party flags here.
Have a great day… I mean DONUT par-tay!
