Last night some neighbors came by to visit to get to know us. They asked what I enjoyed doing. I told them that I love to cook, and that I also love to make cards. After they left, I realized that this card was up on the mantle (in their direct line of sight) the whole time! I just about died…died laughing. I can only imagine that they thought that I made this card.
This card was actually a birthday card to Kyle that I saved, because I thought it was so funny (and it just happened to work with Valentine’s Day colors).
On the inside it reads: “How you celebrate your birthday is nobody’s business”.
It could be perfect for Valentine’s Day too…craft night…who’s in?!
Oh my. That is all.
That is just too funny! Love that card!
Fantastic story! Fantastic card! I’m dying over this one.
Way to break in the new RS presidency and welcome them to our street 🙂
I think that card is awesome!
I’m suggesting we make this card at my next card group. Maybe you can come and teach us how to make it 🙂
I picture your RS presidency standing out by their cars saying,
“My goodness! Can you believe that card she made? I’m calling the Bishop.”
That card just made my day!
Jen
That is really funny. But think of the positive… maybe you won’t get a calling to teach RS!!!
I have got to get myself a lil’ pasties card. Definitely a MUST HAVE!. LOL!
PS- I’m not some random blog stalker… Ok, well maybe I am. (I’m Janae’s SIL)
That is the best card EVER!!!
That is awesome! I bet they won’t forget who you are!!
That is so funny! Maybe they’ll invite you to do a card making demo at Enrichment 😉
Ha!!! LOL!!! Thanks for the good laugh!!
OK. Dustin just walked in while I was reading this and you gave us both a great smile. We needed it. Thanks.
I loved that you blogged about this! It is a fabulous story. I had forgotten how much I loved this card. You should definitely make them!
I’ve often heard of men trying to get out of callings by doing something that doesn’t involve a Bishop’s interview but scandalous enough to warrant a second glance before extending that leadership position…hilarious!
That’s awesome!
That is hilarious. I love that card!
OK…that is pretty darn funny! And that card, I LOVE IT! Sounds like your birthday was a blast….I so enjoyed Kyle’s post…what a hubbie huh!
I cannot stop laughing! Soooo funny.
The minute the picture came up with the card, I was laughing hysterically. I got find one of those..
Very funny but why is the card on the mantle?
I can’t stop laughing!
Maybe if your ward has a super saturday enrichment, you could teach the ladies how to make this modern card.
SO FUNNY! The only thing it needs is a little stamp on the back, ‘Handmade by _____’
I’M IN…..
but that shouldn’t surprise you, should it?
yes! i am here next weekend!
p.s.–i still haven’t got your “prizey” that you sent down–amy forgot to give it to me, gave it to her mom to give to her dad who is supossed to give it to tony witney who is my next door neighbor who is suppossed to give it to ME. you gotta love st. george….
If by “let’s get craftin'” you mean “I’ll make this card if you pay me $4”, my answer is YES! Get craftin’, Kami!
That is HYSTERICAL!!!!
Kami, that is hillarious. How did you make that? You are amazing. Your little guy is getting so big I can’t believe how they grow. He might just be heavier than his big sis. You are a handsome group!
Too funny, love those things that make people go, hmmmm!
