HBD AVERY!
We’re celebrating a big birthday this weekend. Our little Miss Avery Jane is turning the big 11. Last night we hit the mall for the number one thing on her list…getting her ears pierced. I held her off as long as I could, even though she knew there was pain involved (lots and lots of pain – I continued to remind her ;)), we went ahead (dangit!). She did great. She chose little star studs for her first earrings. They’re pretty cute.
Yesterday she humored me with our traditional birthday hat photo shoot.
I love our little tradition, it’s so fun to see how much she’s changed over the years (stop growing up, already!).

I’m sorry we missed Avery’s b-day:( I’ve had a gift for her, but unexpectedly went out of town, and now that I’m back I need to get it to her! I love this girl! She is a breath of sunshine each time I see her, and her sweet countenance and love makes me smile for days!! Happy birthday sweet Avery!! So grateful you are in our lives:)
