Blend up a green smoothie with pomegranate seeds.
Are you always on the lookout for another great green smoothie recipe to get those leafy greens into your diet? I’ve recently started adding pomegranate seeds to my usual line up, and I’m loving it! Now that I know the trick on how to peel a pomegranate with no mess, I love pomegranates even more!
Once you have all your ingredients gathered together, it’s always fun to get the kids involved. My little guy loves to help me dump everything in the blender and turn it on. Do you have a good blender? I’m in love with my blendtec blender…it’s pretty amazing.
Green Smoothie with Pomegranate Seeds
Enjoy pomegranate seeds in your green smoothie.
- 2 cups kale spinach will work here too
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 tablespoons protein or what ever is recommended on the package
- 1 apple cut up with the center removed
- 1 banana cut up if frozen
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup ice
Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.
Drink right away while it's chilled. The colder the better. Serves 3 to 4 (depending). That’s it! Such a great way to consume the healthy stuff.
