What?! How did this happen? How did eight years just pass by that fast?!
I do this every year…freak out a bit at how fast my girl is growing up. It’s normal (I think).
We are so proud of this girl. Our skinny little ‘loves to be social’ butterfly. She really is so full of life. It’s so fun to see her do so well in school and be loved by her little friends who come knockin’ on our door everyday after school.
For her birthday on this off-year (aka not a big party year) she got to invite one friend to dinner and a movie. It was no question where we’d go…Spaghetti Factory. For the movie, we saw Tangled. That is the cutest movie! I cried twice.
It will be fun to celebrate her again next month when she will be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How stinkin' adorable is it that she wore a party hat every year?! Love that! My daughter will be 7 on Monday and I totally wish I could go back and strap a hat to her ever-growing head. They sure do grow up quickly!! Glad she had fun with a friend. 🙂
Love that you put a hat on her every year! Wish I would've done that! I have a daughter who turns 10 next week and I'm totally creating a mantel display for her like you have on your blog! I love it but am having trouble finding those little picture clips! Oh and did I mention I am due w baby #2 in 10 weeks!?

How fun to have your first child getting baptized, too. My favorite thing as the primary president is getting to go to all the baptisms.
I love eight-year-olds. They're so sweet and funny. Good thing I like them since I'm doing Activity Day for the third time. Did you find a baptism dress yet? My girls were both oddballs and didn't want to wear white. Whatever!
