Remember when I played along with Lindsey of The Pleated Poppy on her What I Wore Wednesday? That was so fun. I loved doing that, but the pressure to keep it up scares me. However…”What ‘She’ Wore Wednesday” is a whole other story.
So in playing along…this is what she wore:
The girl in the Fiskars booth at CHA (you know…the iconic orange scissors?!) Isn’t her outfit awesome?! so funny! At the beginning of CHA (The Craft and Hobbies Association) the grand opening of the trade (the ribbon cutting) was done with a giant pair of Fiskars scissors. It was so fitting.
I attended CHA with Cindy from Skip To My Lou, Marie from Make and Takes and Laurie from Tip Junkie. I had so much fun with these three, along with all the crafty bloggers that we spent our nights with.

DecoArt sponsored Marie, Cindy and I to go to CHA. I cannot say enough good things about DecoArt. I’m a fan. They have been such a great company to work with as a craft blogger.
While at the Trade Show we each took a turn each of the three days we were there helping out with the cute make-and-take DecoArt had at their booth. They had a different make-and-take at each corner of their booth. At this corner they were painting a darling 3 dimensional cupcake on a mini canvas.
It was such a fun surprise to see this big poster with my DecoArt testimonial on it. It made my day. Of course the geeky-geek in me had to take a photo by it. I’ll spare you from the photo with the jazz hands.
DecoArt recently launched a few new products that I am excited about:
Magikote (as shown above): it covers styro-foam and gives it this really cool finish which makes styro-foam (light-weight styrofoam) look like it’s not even styro-foam. This giant domino had my head spinning with fun projects to make with it.
Another new product: Decopage by DecoArt. You know this stuff – sealer-glue-finish.

I had to sneak in this phone pic from the party plane from Nashville to LA. It was one wild and crazy crafty week with these ladies.

One of the biggest highlights of the CHA weekend was the Provo Craftparty. They had the stars of SYTYCD (Season 4) as the entertainment. It was SO-MUCH-FUN! I loved that season of the show.

Love Twitch!
Here is a fun little video from that night.
It was fun to see the Lifestyle Crafts booth and a few of the projects that I worked on with the Design Team.

Each night we got together with all these great crafty bloggers for dinner. It was fun to talk about CHA each night.
and…This is what I wore Wednesday: a giant felty-fuzzy mustache!
A big thanks to DecoArt for making this weekend possible!

JOSHUA! Ahh, I miss that season. Fun pictures, and I want to know more about that little flip book at the end. Will google now.

Crafty cruise 2011!!
Awww, looks like you had a blast. Seeing those pictures at CHA took me back! (Before Kids) I used to work for a big Craft Distributor here in Michigan and we always have a booth at CHA. I was in HEAVEN when I went to the Anaheim show. It was hard to stay focused when I took my "quick" bathroom breaks from the booth. Glad you had fun! Thanks for sharing the photos.
It was so great to meet you Kami! My favorite part of this series of photos is the dinner one w/ my double chin. Waaaaah!!!
I loved it all, the crafts, the bloggers, the roomies!!
And when did you take that mustache photo, I LOVE it!!
Kami, so jealous of all your fun. How did I miss out on this one?!?
