I had such a great time doing the little 6 minute segment on Studio 5. The funny thing is…is that it’s just that, 6 minutes. So quick and over before you know it. What a waste of any time I spent worrying about it. I was nervous about it being live tv and that there would be no do-overs, but Brooke and Darin were so great and made the whole thing a lot of fun.
Kyle took the morning off and drove me up. I’m so glad he was there with me. It was fun to spend the morning together.

Some funny thoughts after watching it:
- I said “If you use an exacto knife to cut it exactly out.” (no pun intended
- I also said “chalk-chalky-chalkboard” just rolls right off the tongue.
Why is it that we are all so hard on ourselves? After I first watched it, I thought of the classic line from Friends:
Monica: “The camera adds 10 pounds!” …Chandler: “How many cameras were on you?” – Ugh.
Thank you Studio 5 for having me on (and inviting me back), I had such a great time. I’ve been a big fan of the show for a long time, so it was a thrill to be on it. I love how they highlight blogs and bloggers. Such a smart move on their part, because Utah has so many creative bloggers
The night before the segment, Kyle stayed up late helping me set up Google Checkout right here on the blog for those who’d like to buy the wood chalkboard speechbubbles that I’ve been making. If you’d like to buy one or a few to make a statement wall, we are all set up now for you to do it right HERE.
A big thank you to DecoArt for covering all of my “chalk-chalky-chalkboard” needs.
