Although I am not a scrapbooker, I am a sucker for fun scrapbook paper, and these
Halloween crafty Stars
are a perfect excuse to use it. I made three of these stars, two of them are the hanging double sided type, and one big one for our front door. The best part of this craft for me was the spray glitter, I think I might just be addicted. Next Up… make these for Christmas gifts!
They are easy to make. All you need to make Halloween Stars:
- the metal star (could be any color since you’ll cover it up!)
- about 5 12×12 pieces of coordinating scrapbook paper
- Decopadge or modpodge
- an ink pad
- spray glitter
- Halloween Ribbon to tie it up to your front door
Once you cut the triangles of paper to fit and decide where you want them, you just ink up the edges (this gives them a more finished look). Then you mod-podge them onto the star and then a top coat of mod-podge to protect. Finish off with spray glitter and festive ribbon, and you are set.
*Thanks to Amy of A Little Of This And A Little Of That for the inspiration for these fun stars. When I saw the stars that she has been making, I just had to join in the fun.
