Last week I got this comment on an older post asking about our photo wall.
Because I have my comments linked to my email, I was able to see her comment. But because Danielle didn’t have her email linked to her blogger profile, I was not able to reply directly. I could reply to her in the comment section, but who knows if she will check back to see it, or I could try to hunt down her email.
One of the first things I do when someone asks a question in a comment, is check to see if I can reply directly to them. It’s crazy that the majority of blogspot bloggers don’t have this set up. Some of the best conversations start with that first comment.
If you’d like to do this, all you do is edit your blogger profile and make sure to check the box that says: Show my email address. You’ll be so glad once you do this. You will be surprised by all the conversations you are missing out on. 
One more techy tip on a Tuesday: Did you know that you can call someone on their landline or their cell phone using your gmail account?! How cool is that. One more reason to love Mr. Google. Here is the link with more details. Calls are free until the end of the year.
Think of all the cell phone minutes and or long distance charges you’ll save!

I'm glad you are showing people how to do the email thing. I love when someone has set that up, but 99% of people that comment on my blog don't. Maybe I should refer them to your blog!

Kami- I have a super-di-dooper quick tip that I just discovered. If you have a glass front toaster oven that looked like mine (oops didn't take a before picture) all grimy and yucky and nothing would clean it, try glass top stove cleaner-it works like a charm!!! I am super pleased! Hooray for tips!
