Since there are only a few days left to enter, what I think is a rockin’ giveaway – Lifestyle Crafts Letterpress Kit (for your mom, sister, MIL, SIL, uncle’s gold fish or YOU!), I thought it would be fun to share a project that I made using the cute little dessert box that is included in the giveaway.
Isn’t it cute?! It’s too small for an actual piece of pie or cake, but it is the perfect size for candies, gumballs, or small chocolates.
If you can make 1, then you can make 12 of them, and then you… can make a cake! A paper cake.
Wouldn’t this be fun for a bridal or baby shower as little take home “thank you for coming” gifts?
To make the center paper medallion, I’ve shared the How-To here.
Other cutting dies used:
- the dessert box
- the leaves from the scalloped cupcake liner
- one of the party flags
So…have you entered the giveaway yet? What are you waiting for?!
*I’m sharing this post with these parties, including:
- Tatertots and Jello (Jen)
- Blue Cricket Design (Becca)
- Tip Junkie (Laurie)
- Skip to My Lou (Cindy)
- Today’s Creative Blog (Kim)
- Somewhat Simple (Steph)
- TidyMom (Cheryl)

Oh my goodness that is SO cute!!! How darling! This would be perfect during this time especially since a lot of people have given up sweets for Lent, or it would be perfect for little girls to have a permanent play fixture for tea parties! I can just see the little girls I babysit being absolutely enamored by a gift like this!
That is adorable! It would be such a fun centerpiece for a shower with each guest being able to take home a "slice".
I LOVE this idea for a shower!
