My new favorite Christmas song is Cold Play’s remake of the Pretender’s 2,000 miles. Although I can’t find it downloadable anywhere (bummer) but you can play it on u-tube.

My old favorite is the Beach Boy’s Little Saint Nick. So fun to sing – it always makes me happy to hear it.

My favorite book is The Grinch who stole Christmas. It brings back memories of waiting for it to be on tv (back when we all didn’t have videos and DVDs) and watching it with my brother. Knowing Christmas was almost here.

My favorite website is Etsy. I love to “window shop” there. So many cool things I would love to own. I almost bought an owl “piggy” bank the other day. I’ll do a shout-out later today on my blog.

Thanks Kam! I’m keeping my fingers crossed I covet that star and we LOVE Olive Garden.

Lot’s of favorites this time of year. I love it all! I played “Someday At Christmas” by Vibraphronic tonight at the end of my class at the gym. It is so disco-ey and groovy. But my little Kate couldn’t help but to keep singing “Feliz Navidad” after we heard it on FM 100 “All Christmas, All the Time”. Her trying to say Feliz Navid was so stinkin’ cute. We read ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas at bedtime tonight. That is my favorite, but it has to be the classic version with the old fashioned tweaks. And Kate had me say “Santa” instead of St. Nick. My fav blog for reading is from a dear friend who is a very talented writer, http://www.michaelallisonhansen.blogspot.com.

  51. 51

My 3 year old and I are loving Jingle Bells… Over and over and over again :)

  70. 70

I popped in from “Word To Your Mother’s” blog so I could participate in this awesome giveaway! :)

My favorite Christmas book used to be “The Night Before Christmas” before “The Polar Express” came along. That book entered into our lives just at the time when my oldest child was skeptical about the whole Santa deal. That book served as a means to rope him back in, and understand that, as long as one believes in the magic of Christmas, then there will ALWAYS be a Santa Claus.

My favorite Christmas song? Hmmmmm…that’s not such an easy task.

If I were to pick from all the many gazillions out there, I’d have to say I love Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” for an up tempo melody.

If I want to get more traditional, I think Charlotte Church’s rendition of “Ave Maria” is gorgeous. It never ceases to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up and tears come to my eyes.

So..there you have it. My list. Which, of course, is always subject to change. :)

  71. 71

So I check your blog out every now and then.. My mom found it and shared it with me and you kids are darling! So I was reading it the other day when you posted the giveaway and when I read this part “Three Eggnog Suckers…after I tried one of these, I went back for more” I had to do a double take.. There’s only one place around here that sells Eggnog Suckers and it’s where I work! AND the other day, I realized, I sold an Eggnog sucker to a lady and as soon as she got out to her car and tasted the sucker, she had to come back in for 3 MORE Eggnog suckers!!!! It was you! I thought it was pretty funny. So it was nice you meet you even though I didn’t realize it at the time.. Now you have a friend at Pebbles. :)

Oh.. and my favorite Christmas song is anything from N’Sync’s Christmas cd. It’s cheesy now but it reminds me of Christmas when I was little.
