Here are a few paper craft ideas from homemade book marks to gift tag ideas using the new IT KITS from Lifestyle Crafts.
Gift Tag Ideas
First up, I wanted to share with you how I organize all the cutting dies that I use. Here’s the Label It Kit, it comes with 17 dies. To help keep everything straight I keep them all together in a ziplock bag that’s labeled with the name, date and number of dies.
I also write on each die with a sharpie the name and a number (ie 1 of 17). This way I can remember where they belong if they’re misplaced. When you buy any of these IT KITS, you also get the digital files to be used with a digital cutting machine like the silhouette (pretty cool). I love using these types of dies because I love to be able to use scraps of paper. With digital machines, you have to start with bigger pieces of paper.
Here’s the first gift tag idea using a die from the Tab It kit.
Here I used rub on letters for the “thanks” and a piece of washi tape over the top.
This is what the Tab IT die looks like.
Here’s another idea using the same die. Here it’s used as a monogrammed bookmark to go along with a book as a gift.
Here’s another gift tag idea, this time using a die from the Corner It kit. I used two dies from this kit.
This is what the actual die looks like. This kit is full of little dies to add fancy corners to everything (so fun!).
Here’s another gift tag idea. This one used the flower die from the Corner It Kit and a pocket tag die from the Tag It kit.
Here’s what the back side of the gift tag looks like. I love how you can see the flower on both sides. I’m also loving corrugated cardboard lately.
Last up: a simple tag for a glass bottle. This one uses a die from the Label It kit and a flower from the spring flowers die.
This is what the actual die looks like. It’s two dies that work together.
One thing I love about these IT KITS, is that I can use them in my Project Life album. I’m still keeping up with my Project Life album, even if it kills me.
I hope I’ve inspired you with a few of these ideas. Which one is your favorite?
